What We Do

Pet Food Bank

Keep your family fur members home with help from Kibblez of Love

Kibblez of Love helps pet parents by providing pet food and assisting with spay and neuter surgeries if needed. Your pets must be fixed to participate in this program, and if they are not, you must agree to have them fixed – NO EXCEPTIONS.

I thought long and hard about what I could do for pets that end up in shelters and believed that if I could help in some small way, to assist their owners, so they never have to surrender them into an animal shelter. Perhaps we, as a society, can overcome overcrowding in shelters and pet over-population.

This program is intended to assist families who have fallen on difficult financial times. We do not support adopting a pet if you can not financially accept the responsibility. Pets need annual medical care and vaccinations, as well as potential emergency situations that may arise. Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment and Kibblez of Love will help you keep your family and pets together as a temporary support system.

If you can no longer provide the care even with assistance, we will gladly find your pet a new home if space is available.

Rescue

Our primary goal is to reduce the number of unwanted pets that are euthanized in our shelters each day.

Kibblez of Love rescues the most medically needy and urgent death row dogs from our local shelter as well as abandoned dogs in the community who need us most. We have their conditions treated, behavior assessments concluded, and once all this has been completed they are available for adoption. All dogs come with spay/neuter, vaccinations including rabies, and microchip.

There is a great need for fosters and financial partnership so that we can continue to be a “NO KILL” organization. If you have an interest in fostering, please fill out a foster application.
